INTR281-Interior Design Studio I

The first ID course is an introduction to the interior design profession, with an emphasis on problem solving for small residential spaces. Elements and principles of design are explored as well as human factors, colour theory, and the art of lighting. Students are introduced to residential space planning, furniture layouts, the development of colour schemes and the selection of finishes, furnishings and materials.
